It’s that time again – time for the awesome Lowell Folk Festival – a free, three days of music that brings performers and music lovers from across the country together.
Local musicians are also getting in on the action, our band included. We will be at the beloved Caffe Paradiso on Palmer Street on both Friday and Saturday nights from 7 – 10 p.m. There is no cover.
Come and sit outside, enjoy the libations and tasty treats the cafe has to offer and listen to the tunes of ABRCR (that’s us!). See you there!

“One Time” Lyrics
by Amy Black
Don’t know what you see in him, I just don’t understand
And why is it as time goes by, he is still your man
You might think he loves you, but baby that ain’t love
Time for you to make a break and show what your made of
You’ve got to stand right up, look him in the eye
Say, “Baby, baby, this bird’s gotta fly”
You’ve got to walk away, shut that door
Time for you to make a break and show what you’re good for
You’ve got to say, “Goodbye!” You’ve got to get on with your life
Cause you’ve got a lot to give
And baby, baby, oh you know you only live one time, one time
One time, one time
One time, one time
So, take my advice
Get on with your life
Go on girl, get out of here

New Venue: Garcia Brogan’s in Lowell on 5/20
Apr 22, 2010 live band
There’s a great, relatively new resturant in Lowell that serves both Mexican and Irish fare. Garcia Brogan’s is a great place to go for a meal and a drink or two, but these days it’s also a great place to hear live music.
Come out on Thursday, May 20 for a night of ABRCR music! We start at 8 p.m. and will go until 11. See you there!
New Show! PCA in Westford on Friday, April 23
Apr 5, 2010 live band
We just booked a gig for Friday, April 23 from 8 – 10 at the most excellent Parish Center for the Arts in Westford. Come out for a great night of music (that you can really hear – no competing with TV screens and loud drunk people hanging out at the bar).
Also, very key information here…you can BYOB to this venue. So pick up a favorite bottle of wine or bring your cooler stocked with beer and head on down to the Parish Center for the Arts for a grand old time! Oh, feel free to bring some food too. A small cheese plate would be perfect and if that’s too fancy, just a bags of chips will do.
Buy your tickets in advance so we know someone is actually coming AND to save you money.
Tickets are $12 (plus a little $1 fee we have nothing to do with) in advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at 7:30.
BUY TICKETS HERE and we will see you there!

There’s a rumor that Fred (harp) might show up as well. If you are in the Concord area or don’t mind driving, come on out and see us.
